01 — Benefits

Crypto you spend like cash

Your digital balance now works at the checkout, online and on the road.

  • From wallet to card

Digital dollars become a dollar balance on your card, one to one, less the top-up fee shown before you confirm.

  • You set the rules

Limits per purchase, per day and per month, plus blocks or caps by category, such as gambling, cash withdrawals and travel.

  • A card for every purpose

Multiple virtual cards, each with its own nickname, limits and statement.

  • Protected card details

Card number, expiry date and security code are displayed by the issuer, only after two-step verification and for 30 seconds.

02 — The mechanism

From crypto balance to approved purchase

The exact path your money takes, with no hidden shortcuts.

  1. Your wallet

    Digital dollar (USDC)

  2. Issuer deposit

    Verified on the network

  3. Card balance

    In dollars, on the ledger

  4. Purchase

    Authorized in real time

  • 1 USDC = US$1.00 of balance, in whole cents
  • Top-up fee shown before you confirm and deducted from the credit
  • Each transfer is credited only once

03 — How it works

What happens, step by step

From top-up to clearing, every step follows a clear rule.

  1. You top up with USDC

From your wallet, you send digital dollars (USDC) to the card issuer's deposit account. Holding another token? Swap it for USDC first.

  2. The platform checks the network

The transfer is verified on the network itself: it must be confirmed and less than 24 hours old, and the amount credited is the lower of what left your wallet and what reached the deposit.

  3. The balance is credited in dollars

Each USDC becomes US$1.00 of card balance, less the top-up fee. The same transfer is never credited twice.

  4. The purchase requests authorization

At the moment of purchase, the issuer queries the platform in real time. Card status, per-purchase, daily and monthly limits, country, merchant category and balance are all checked.

  5. The amount is held

Once approved, the purchase places a hold on the card balance. If no response arrives within the issuer's time limit, the purchase is declined: nothing is approved blindly.

  6. Clearing settles the account

When the merchant confirms, the hold becomes a debit. Differences such as tips or exchange rates are adjusted, and any unused hold returns to your balance.

04 — In practice

Where the card makes a difference

Three everyday situations, with the right rules.

  • Purchases abroad

Turn on travel mode before you leave: purchases in another country are approved only while it is active. The original amount of each purchase is kept on your statement.

  • Subscriptions

Create a card just for subscriptions, with its own monthly limit. Want to stop a charge? Freeze the card with a single tap.

  • Travel

Hotels and car rentals may hold an amount for up to 30 days, as is standard in the industry. Whatever is not used returns to your balance.

05 — Card networks

Accepted card networks

Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and American Express: card networks accepted by merchants worldwide, online and in store.

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Diners Club
  • American Express

Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and American Express are registered trademarks of their respective owners and appear here under license. Each card's network is specified at issuance.

The card is issued by to be published, a licensed institution. Full card details are held by the issuer and displayed through its secure component; DUbank stores only the last four digits.

Fees and limits: to be published

06 — What sets it apart

Why this card is different

In many cases, a crypto balance has to leave the platform and be converted elsewhere before it reaches a card. Here, the top-up is verified on the network itself and recorded on a ledger, and every purchase is decided against that balance in real time.

  • Transparent conversion: 1 USDC becomes US$1.00, less the fee shown
  • Real-time decisions under your rules, with the card's controls in place
  • Declined by default when no response arrives in time
  • Refunds and disputes on the same statement

07 — Security

Protection designed for cards

Sensitive data never even passes through here.

  • Full details stay with the issuer

The full card number, expiry date and security code never pass through the platform: the issuer displays them on its own secure page. Only the last four digits are kept here.

  • Freeze and unfreeze

Freeze your card whenever you like. To unfreeze it or relax a rule, the account asks for a new verification code.

  • Signed events

Every issuer event arrives signed and with an expiry window: a captured event cannot be replayed later.

  • Purchase disputes

Unrecognized, undelivered or duplicate charges can be disputed, with tracking through to the outcome.

08 — Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this a credit card?

No. The card uses the balance you top up: each purchase is approved against that balance. There is no bill and no interest.

Can I top up with any crypto?

Top-ups are made in digital dollars (USDC). Other tokens must be swapped for USDC before topping up.

How much does a top-up cost?

The top-up fee appears on screen before you confirm, and the amount credited is already net of it.
